What are your rights in relation to data protection?

You have the following rights in relation to data protection:
  • The right of access to personal data
You have the right to know what data we process about you, for what purposes, for how long, whom we transfer this data to, and what other rights you have in relation to the processing of your personal data. You may find all of this information in this document. Should you be unsure, you can ask us whether or not the personal data relating to you is being processed by us and, where appropriate, request access to that personal data.
  • Right to rectification of personal data
If you discover that the personal data we process about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have the data corrected or completed without undue delay.
  • Right to erasure of personal data
In some cases, you have the right to have your personal data erased by us. This is the case when: we no longer need your personal data for the purposes for which we processed it; you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for which your consent is necessary and there is no other legal reason for us to continue to process the data; you exercise your right to object to processing (see below Right to object to processing) and it becomes apparent under this right that your interest outweighs our legitimate interest in processing the personal data in that situation; you believe that the personal data is being processed unlawfully by us.
Please note that this right does not apply if the processing of the personal data concerned is necessary for compliance with our legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defence of our legal claims.
  • Right to restriction of processing
In some cases, you have the option to request restriction of processing if you contest the accuracy of your personal data; you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully; your personal data is no longer necessary for the stated purposes of the processing but you need it to establish, exercise or defend your legal claims; or you have objected to the processing (see below Right to object to processing). If the processing of your personal data is restricted, it may be processed only with your consent (with the exception of its storage or backup).
  • Right to data portability

  • Right to object to processing
We process some personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest (see above “On what legal basis and for what purposes do we process personal data?”), and you have the right to object to such processing of your personal data. Where it concerns marketing activities, we will stop processing your personal data without further. In other cases, we will do so unless we have substantial legitimate grounds to continue such processing.
  • Right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data
You may contact the Data Protection Officer at any time with requests to exercise your rights using the contact details provided at the top of the page.
